Light-Induced Fluorescence Cavity Detector

Very small cavities are not captured on digital radiographs and can be extremely difficult to detect even during an examination. Our use of this hand-held fluorescence cavity detection aid allows us to easily see when the dentin is healthy and when it is not (noted in red).
By diagnosing a cavity at the earliest stages a filling can be completed comfortably without the use of anesthesia. Our cavity detector is routinely used prior to the placement of sealants to eliminate any chance of sealing over a cavity.
BPA-Free Sealants
