Dr. Jacquelyn Do grew up in Yorba Linda, California and completed her undergraduate degree in biological sciences at the University of California, Irvine. She later moved to New York City to complete her graduate studies in dentistry at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. After living thirteen years in Manhattan, Dr. Jackie relocated back to California to be closer to her family and warm, sunny weather.
Dr. Jackie is a specialist in pediatric and children’s dentistry and has been providing excellent care in the field since 2003. She is certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Her specialty training began at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. During this time, she was awarded for her excellence and achievements in the field of pediatric dentistry by both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Society of Dentistry for Children, honors traditionally given to one recipient each, per graduating year.
After receiving her accolades and doctorate degree from Columbia University she continued her focused training in pediatric dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry, the NYU Langone Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital and the Rose F. Kennedy Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center. This extended specialty training has provided her with a solid foundation of knowledge on delivering dental care to children with special needs and medically compromised conditions. Her level of training and expertise has also enabled her to care for the most anxious and apprehensive children.
Dr. Jackie's practice philosophy is centered on promoting preventive care and to helping parents and children develop a healthy and happy dental home. With her light-hearted approach and welcoming demeanor, kids of all ages have grown to truly love going to the dentist.
Outside of the office, Dr. Jackie can be found at a neighborhood park with her husband and two little girls or in a yoga studio. A few things at the top of her bucket list are to travel to Vietnam on a dental outreach, learn how to surf and sail a boat, and to visit the islands of Maldives.
